The VTones, a dynamic a cappella performance ensemble based in the Upper Valley, is currently looking to add a vocalist to our group who…

• Is confident singing in the Soprano/Soprano 2 range (approximately: A3 - G5),  

• Enjoys singing close harmony across a variety of a cappella genres,

• Has regular weekly availability on Monday nights from 7pm-9pm, and

• Is willing to learn and memorize a significant amount of repertoire outside of weekly rehearsal times.

 

If you are interested in auditioning, please submit the following pre-screening items via email to vtones.singers@gmail.com by FEBRUARY 6th:

• A short music resume, or paragraph, highlighting your musical background and interests.

• 1-minute (or less) video of you singing an a cappella piece in the Soprano range 

  • We are looking for a simple video, taken with a phone or other recording device—no need to get super polished, we’d just like to hear and see you sing.

  • Song selection can be your own cover of “Happy Birthday” or “Amazing Grace” or a song of your choice.

 

After reviewing all pre-screening submissions we may reach out to schedule an in-person audition with current members of the ensemble on a Monday evening in mid-February or early March.  

 

We are hoping to fill this position before the end of March to allow for overlap and continuity between in-coming and out-going members of the ensemble.
